Undercliffe Rest
Isle of Wight
The southern coast of the Isle of Wight draws walkers and families for its dramatic cliffs and English Channel views, plus curiosities like the microclimate that lets Ventnor Botanic Garden flourish with subtropical plants. Undercliffe Rest sits in the quiet village of St Lawrence, close enough to explore Steephill Cove's rock pools and sand, or reach Ventnor's Victorian streets and restaurants within minutes by car.
This stone-built cottage dates from the 17th century but runs on modern lines. Four bedrooms sleep eight: a super kingsize, a double, and two singles rooms. Wifi is included, along with heating, electricity and bed linen. There's a back garden with seating and a barbecue, and parking for two cars on the property. One dog can stay free.
