Chestnutt Holiday Park

We recently stayed at Chestnutt Holiday Parks Cranfield over the Bank Holidays and Easter, and once again it did not disappoint. We hired a static caravan this time, having previously toured here for many years, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Chestnutt has always been our go-to holiday spot, and there’s a reason we keep coming back. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful people you could meet—nothing is ever too much trouble, and they’re an absolute pleasure to deal with. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, which makes it ideal for relaxing family days out. Having the on-site shop is so convenient, and the Beach Comer restaurant is a great bonus—lovely food and a great atmosphere right on your doorstep. We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked again for our summer holidays, which says it all really. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-located holiday park with fantastic facilities and staff, Chestnutt Holiday Parks Cranfield is hard to beat. Highly recommend!

Stayed in a tent. The pitches along the road are small length wise, so go for a pitch in the grass for more room. Ground was hard and not ideal for pegs. Kitchen and toilet facilities were basic and in a prefab. New building coming in 2027.

Lovely caravan park next to the beach. This is a family run business and we've been here before renting a static caravan. The caravan is a good size. This time we have a 3 bedroom one which has allowed our daughters a room each. The caravan was immaculate. The kitchen was well provisioned with microwave, gas hob and oven. There are cups, glasses, dishes, pots, etc to allow you to make your meals. There is a shop on site which is well stocked and a takeaway which is handy if you want a rest from cooking. An ideal location for a family holiday.

Just back from a fabulous holiday at Chestnutt Holiday Park. We've a touring caravan and the site was perfect. The Mourne mountain views were stunning!!!! We love the atmosphere of the site, the staff were very pleasant, and the cafe, take away and shop brilliant!!! We love all the local produce sold in the shop, from the scones, sodas etc to the free range eggs. We've been coming to Chestnutt now for a number of years and have never been disappointed. It is a joy!! 👌😀
