What visitors say
Just spent four nights at this lovely little campsite. A very pleasant open plan campsite surrounded by mature trees give the place a cosy feeling. The pitches are all good sized and there are two showers for the men and two for the ladies which are very good. The welcome we received and general assistance from the wardens was absolutely top notch - always happy to chat and help out where possible. Access to Castle Ward is free and there are plenty of good walks - including a 15-20 minute walk into Strangford with its restaurants and pub.

Fantastic Accommodation for a little getaway! The Standard Pods were clean and surprisingly spacious and the area was just lovely! From the estate to the town, highly recommend! Brilliant staff, pleasant and helpful! The utilities were clean and functional and the showers may be better than the one I have at home 😂 Lovely holiday for a decent price! Will definitely be back!

Lovely peaceful campsite. Warm welcome from reception, all facilities included and they are clean. The campsite isn't too large with 35 hard standing pitches, each with their own ehu and water point.

Lovely camping site. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Stunning walks anytime of the day around Castle Ward woods and part of Strangford Lough. Although no designated child play area, still plenty to discover around Castle Ward grounds for everyone who is interested in nature. Plenty of space for a caravan and awning. Dog friendly, clean toilets and showers. For any one coming from over the sea and want to discover Northern Ireland and beyond, camping Castle Ward is a good, cheap place to stay and start your journey. Plus as extra, free entrance to NT property all around Northern Ireland during your stay.
