We loved our stay in Toad Hall! It made a stay away with mobility issues so easy! The what three words reference leads right up the driveway to a parking pad with lit ramp from the car to the front door. All the thresholds are low profile and the downstairs bedroom was perfect, the shower was large enough to support washing and the hot tub being sunken into the deck made transferring easier. The kitchen is well equipped with equipment and basics like tea, coffee, washing up liquid, sauces etc and had great facilities. The cabin was beautiful on both our sunny and our snowy visits!

We had our wedding celebrations here and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical, gorgeous setting. Nestled in the woodlands, we, along with our guests, were blown away by the beauty and serenity of the space; you feel very connected to nature. It’s exactly how we envisaged our day! Every aspect of the wedding planning with the venue was seamless, and we felt incredibly well looked after by everyone from Happy Valley. Our stay in Toad Hall was a particular highlight - it allowed us to relax under the stars and get ready with ease for the big day. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a gorgeous, natural setting for their wedding or a quite retreat to get away from it.

We stayed the last weekend of February it was a very wet weekend and we arrived in the dark to a beautifully lit lodge. The directions provided were perfect and we soon settled into our lodge and the beginning of our weekend. Surrounded by beautiful woodland and views of fields we enjoyed the sounds of nature and fresh air. The lodge provided our family with all the facilities we needed. It was clean and we enjoyed the log burner when the night drew in. We are already looking at when we can return to hopefully enjoy some relaxation in the summer sun. Katy and the team were all accommodating and helpful. Thank you for our stay

We had a fantastic time staying in Moonshine Manor at Happy Valley. It’s the perfect spot to escape and engage with the local calming countryside. It’s a stunning and peaceful location, we loved the cosy feel of Moonshine Manor and had a fabulous walk in the magical woods located right next to the site. Our daughter loved listening out for the owls at nighttime, as well as watching deer stroll by. Great communication with the team and easy to find with lots to do within a 15-20 min drive from the site. A perfect break, would highly recommend for families.
