What a great find Cranmore Campsite is. Communication from booking to arrival was was friendly, easy and efficient. Given the winter conditions space was allocated for us and our friends on the road near the pond as quite understandably they didn’t want us on the grass. The site is flat with easy.access - the final lane is narrow but perfectly accessible. The site entrance track needs some attention so you will want to avoid the pot holes if you can. Hopefully they will get filled in at some point. The site itself is beautifully kept with a mixture of grass and hardstandings. The lake is a delight and I cannot wait to fish it in the future. The fishing is free which is generous of the owners. There is a toilet and shower facility available but unheated, so we didn’t use on this occasion. The CDP was clean and easy to use. Fresh water was easily accessible for motor homes although I couldn’t find a grey water disposal point. I was disappointed to find no recycling bins (apart from glass) in the refuse area, for having spent our stay separating everything, as we do at home, there was then nowhere to put it. You should be aware that there is a constant drone from the M5 which is really quite close. I was unaware of the noise when in my moho and it certainly didn’t disturb my sleep. But if you are looking for complete peace then this may not be for you. But all in all we had a great stay and would definitely return and I highly recommend Cranmore Campsite

We stopped at Cranmoor on our way down to Devon in July. we stopped on our way home as well. what a lovely little site !! The pitches were level. The site was clean and well kept. Upon arrival we asked if we could swap our pitch (I wanted one next to the lake)? Absolutely no problem at all. The owners were very accomodating. The fishing was fantastic. This will be our "go to " site whenever we are heading south. (will be booking again for 2025)

I had taken my son for his first camp age three in our campervan. This site is a gem and the owners were brilliant. Nice peaceful site with a lovely fishing lake which my son caught his first ever fish. We will definitely be back again for 2025
