Clayton West is a quiet village on the edge of West Yorkshire's countryside, within reach of Holmfirth, the Peak District, and various walking routes across the moorland. Yorkshire Cottage sits on a peaceful row here, a stone-built property you have entirely to yourself, with a front garden and sitting-out area where you can settle with a book or watch the day pass.

The cottage sleeps three: one kingsize bedroom upstairs, one smaller double, and a walk-in shower room. Downstairs is open-plan living and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and all the rest. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are covered. The property is non-smoking, and there's on-road parking outside.

The village itself has a shop and pub within reach, and the surrounding landscape offers straightforward appeal if you want to walk or cycle without travelling far. The National Coal Mining Museum and Yorkshire Sculpture Park are both drivable from here.
