What visitors say
Ate here last night and I can honestly say this is the best steak ive ever had. We had drinks in the bar while waiting for our table, barman really looked after us and was a perfect start to the night. We was then taken to our table and our waiter for the night was amazing as well. The food...... We started with the belly pork and beef shortrib croquettes. These were amazing. My wife never eats belly pork as she says there to fatty but she loved them so much she went back for more ( I was gutted). The croquettes were also tasty. We went for a sharing chateaubriand with sides of mac and cheese, spinach and leek gratin and chips. This is by far the best steak ive ever eaten, cooked to perfection and had an amazing smoked taste from their grill. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. If you ever get the chance to go make sure you do, you won't regret it.

First time here & it blew our mind. We're big foodies, especially when it comes to steak. From the moment we walked into this beautifully presented air conditioned restaurant, we knew that we were in for a real treat. The food & drinks were next level with service to match. Everything we had was packed with flavour. Hot, fresh & left us wanting to come back time & time again. Our server was Iggy, who went above & beyond. We really enjoyed learning about all of the cuts of meats before choosing. The service was seamless & polished from everyone involved. My husband really appreciated the little birthday touch at the end. Can't wait to come back. Worth every single penny for the quality we received. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection. Thank you P.s. Highly recommend the short rib beef croquettes, the mac n cheese side, the pepper corn sauce to accompany your steak

Lively venue, starters, recommend the short rib croquet, and crispy squid (it wasn’t crispy but delicious). Belly pork was good, but not outstanding. Mains, a variety of super steaks, shout out to the chateaubriand and rib eye, yet everyone was very happy with their choice! Beef burger was fine, but no more than a good burger. Pick the truffle chips as your potato choice, others were good but they were the pick of the group. I’m not a mac and cheese fan, but was suggested to try another’s and it was excellent. Tomato salad is highly recommended (sliced fresh tomatoes with puréed tomatoes on top). The pick of the sides (and a must) was the side of carrots. Out of this world. Service was professional, polite and friendly (Conor) though we did find ourselves waiting for drinks on a couple of occasions (hence service had to drop to a high 4 score). Overall a fantastic experience, highly recommended from a discerning group of restaurant foodies. Go, you will be pleased….

We had been on the hunt for a great steak restaurant for our visit to Bristol and, after seeing so many glowing reviews for Pasture we decided to see if it lived up to the hype. It’s perfectly situated right between the station and the town, making it so handy. From the moment we walked in, this restaurant has a relaxed, chilled-out vibe really set the tone. We were lucky enough to have Octavian as our waiter, and he was brilliant. He was so engaging and clearly had a real passion for the ethos behind the restaurant. It was lovely to chat with him and get an understanding of the ideas and quality that go into every dish. The food …well what can I say but exceeded our expectations. The beef rib croquettes were beautiful and a perfect way to kick things off. For me, though, the squid was the absolute winner—honestly the best I have ever eaten. It was cooked in its own ink and served with a delicious garlic and lemon dressing that was just spot on. We went for the Chateaubriand 700g to share , which was exceptional. It was cooked perfectly. Paired with a side of crispy fries and greens but the fire roasted carrots were a taste sensation as a side. We finished on a high note with the baked cheesecake and a stunning lemon polenta cake. They were the perfect end to a really special meal. If you’re looking for high-quality, sustainably sourced food served in a great atmosphere, I can’t recommend Pasture enough. We’ll definitely be heading back!
