Really lovely facilities: clean bathrooms, nice showers. Shame they lock the accessible toilet with a Yale key. Not very accessible if you arrive out of reception hours. Lovely area with views over a field of horned Jacob sheep, hills, lots of people paragliding nearby, which is cool to watch. Good for birds: pied wagtails, curlews, oystercatchers, goldfinches and corvids, to name a few. Good washroom with fridge, freezer, sinks, washing machine and dryer. Close to Clitheroe and the river for pretty walks. Right next door to a cosy pub with good food and lots of walks from the door. Close to Pendle hill and the forest of bowland.

Beautiful, well maintained site. Facilities immaculate. We were in the motorhome on a hard standing with electric hook up. Good value for money. Easy walk into Clitheroe. Lovely town with lots of independent shops and cafés and a great market. Would highly recommend.

I needed a safe place to stay for just one night and this campsite was perfect! In fact I wish I could have stayed longer. The low season midweek rate is fantastic and the super clean toilet and shower block was great after a long drive. There’s a bit of road noise but it didn’t bother me and seeing the sheep in the field behind was just joyous. I was able to make a reservation over the phone and received great customer service. Thank you very much for a great stay!

Another lovely stay at Edisford Bridge. 5 star location. The only downside for us this time were some of the people camping on the same field. They were quite noisy, played music too loud and did not adhere to the rules of not letting dog off their lead and we witnessed the dog poohing on a pitch and they were obvious to it so didn't clear it up. They also let the dog in the same field as the sheep as well as letting the children climb over the gate into the field and one of the adults did too. Unfortunately none of the staff were around to deal with this situation. The usually peaceful site was unfortunately not on this occasion. It would otherwise have been 5 stars all round. We would defintely return but stay on a different area of the site.
