We booked through Skyes and stayed at Shorefields 1 which is a one bed 1st floor flat right on the sea front on the Bay. Firstly we were told it had a washing machine which it didn't. There was a launderette at the end of the block with ONE washing machine for the whole of Shorefields and we had to wait up to four hours to get our Washing done. We brought our own folding table and chairs and placed it by the window overlooking the bay. The apartment was very comfortable although you had to be careful not to bang your head as the roof slopped. The views were beautiful although the seating area below got busy when sunny and a little noisy. Other than that, we had a chilled time and there was a shop under the apartment reasonably priced for cans and wine. I would probably go again now we know the pit falls.

Friendly and homely site. Calm and quiet with beautiful views and many lovely walks. Shop open daily supplies your basics. Head to town for fresh fruit and veg. Stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. Generally very comfortable. Low ceiling in the eves could be problematic. We both banged our heads at some point. Dogs most welcome.

A family run site with majority static vans, also a separate field for tourers. The site is kept in good order and well maintained by the family. The on site shop is also run by the same family. Alcohol is served in the evening from the shop and this can be enjoyed by outdoor seating overlooking the beach and sea. Blackpool and Fylde coast, Cumbria and on a clear day Isle of Man can all be seen. Such a relaxing site with a great location.
