I stood in awe as I approached this stunning monument. It's grandure is emphasised as it's situated at the top of a hill. Views from the base or balcony look across Morecambe bay. Blackpool tower is visible with the naked eye and the mountainous range beyond Coniston. Well worth a visit and a walk around the grounds.

Great park with great walks, little nice place to spend your day relaxing, reading a book, a great picnic with your family and friends. Great architecture, unfortunately the Butterfly House is closed for full refurbish that might take some years by the look of it. Toilets available in 2 places, on Williamson car park and next to the butterfly house.

Stunning park with great architecture. Ideal place for family with two playgrounds. Nice walks around ponds there as well. You do not really use the paid car park, but you can park on road next to it. The place have free public toilets.

Really cool place, it’s massive and spacious! Great for a well-being walk, simple leisure or sight seeing! Visited the memorial, which has a pretty artsy vibe to it. You can go up to the top as well and look out over Lancaster. Visited the Mini zoo, which has different sections and small but lovely collection of animals and creatures. There’s some stalls and seating areas too for coffee and light bites. Definitely a place to go repeatedly! Loved it.
