Lovely welcome from Lyndsey who shared all the local knowledge we asked for and then showed us to a flat well maintained campsite. Toilets were spotless and the undercover seating area practical and pleasant. They serve pizzas at weekends and sell essentials and cold drinks. The Fox and Goose is a 30 min walk away which had to be done as England playing. Great site….. Dave n Mia

10 minutes just under to town of Lancaster the castle and museum perfect location. On camp for children are toys, slip and slide, swing and a perfect little shop for children too. Fantastic staff start to finish helped us with anything we needed. Facilities always clean and tidy and spotless.

Me, my husband and my 3 children aged 4,9 & 11 had the best weekend here. Pizzas where so good! Owners where lovely. Big field where the children could play with hay bales as football posts. Fire pits to hire also. Lovely area and lots to do within 15/20 minute drive. Will definitely be visiting again

Best (real camping campsite fire pits allowed semi back to basics but not) we've visited in a long while. The site is immaculate the toilets are constantly kept immaculate the showers are lovely and warm and obvs..... immaculate. The lads and lasses that work there are all super friendly easily approached. The pizza bar (wood fired) is a fantastic touch with realistic prices along with a small shop again with realistic prices no money grabbing no overinflation Electric is a 2A set up all pitches have it it will run a compressor fridge box and phone chargers with ease (it won't run heaters and or hair dryers and such) but it's more than enough It's a stones throw from Lancaster yet you feel like your miles from anywhere. There's a big field for the kids at the top but the site is entirely enclosed so there's not really anywhere they can wander off to. We went August bank holiday weather was perfect it was fully booked but it didn't feel cramped the pitches are massive biggest pitch I've had for a couple of years now so was super impressed. This is our new regular campsite no doubt about it. looking forward to the next visit
