Absolutely loved our stay at Whinney Hill Farm! The campsite is spacious, spotless, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. It’s the perfect peaceful getaway from the city yet close enough to Lancaster for quick runs. Julien, the heart of the place, gave us the warmest welcome and even helped us light our BBQ when we were struggling. She later brought us a gas stove just so we didn’t miss out on fun. Such a wholesome, memorable camping experience!

We had an amazing stay in the glamping tent. such a fun experience from start to finish! The tent was so cute and very clean. We loved sitting out in an evening toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The compostable toilets were clean and odour free. The staff were all incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The hot showers were a brilliant bonus, and getting to see the retired racehorses was so special. We also loved exploring the farm on a peaceful walk with our dogs. Absolutely stunning scenery all around. Can’t recommend it enough we will definitely be going again.

Beautiful, peaceful farm – unforgettable first camping experience Whinney Hill Farm gave us the perfect first-time camping experience. The farm is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by open countryside and lovely walking trails. Seeing the beautiful horses up close added something really special to the stay. What truly made our visit memorable was the hospitality we received. Julian (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name) was absolutely amazing — kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. Since it was our first time camping outdoors, we had a lot of questions and things we were unsure about, but she guided us through everything with such warmth. Her support and friendly nature made all the difference. Everything about the place felt welcoming and calm. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our camping adventures, and it’s all thanks to the peaceful setting and the incredible hospitality.
