What a great little museum. We found the information and items to look at so interesting and loved being able to see the fisherman's cottage. The volunteers were informative and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Leigh Heritage Centre & Museum is a wonderful place to learn about the history of Leigh-on-Sea and the local fishing community. Such a charming must-see visit to Leigh, extremely blue sunny skies, yummy ice cream and lovely volunteer Pat at the Heritage Centre Museum... already looking forward to a return visit!

Loved it. Very interesting. Great host who knew everything about the history and smugglers at leigh on sea. Old fishing house great too.
