About Kensington Hotel

A Victorian townhouse forms the backbone of the Kensington Hotel, set on Nevill Crescent in Llandudno with views out over the bay. The building's period character carries through to a relaxed, informal atmosphere rather than anything stiff or formal, making it a comfortable base for exploring the Conwy coast.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and the option of family accommodation, with drinks available in room and a lift serving the upper floors. Breakfast is included, and the on-site restaurant and bar offer a low-key spot for evening meals, with outdoor seating for warmer days. Packed lunches can be arranged for days out, and practical extras such as 24-hour reception, luggage storage, concierge services and meeting rooms are all on hand. Free on-site parking is provided, which is a useful bonus in a town where space can be tight.

The surrounding area suits an active stay, with golf, fishing, cycling and watersports all nearby, plus walking routes for those who prefer to stay on foot. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are within easy reach, and the Summit Complex is a notable point of interest close by. Llandudno itself lies under a mile from the hotel by the pier.

Hotel a little dated, but rooms had everything I needed, staff were excellent and knowledgeable of the area, literally right on beach! Parking available behind hotel so no messing about. Lots of venues on the door step.. Irish bar round corner..perfect!! Great 'turns' on too (sorry Yorkshire bird!!) picture 3 is from back of hotel looking at Snowdonia!!

Lovely staff, very efficient food ok but was part of an organised tour. Rooms clean but my bed was extremely uncomfortable, shower was very good with copious amounts of hot water. The biggest problem was the bar prices which were far too high 5* prices for what I would consider a 2* hotel.

Good location hotel is homely if not a bit frayed round the edges. Tiny bathrooms. I asked for a room with a view got one overlooking the coaches but at least I could see the nearest shops from my window at the back. They aren't good with solo diners who'd prefer a window seat or quiet area, some hotels are aware of this. Foods good plentiful basic fare. There's a swimming pool near and theatre plus the pier.
