About Five Oaks Certificated Location

Tucked into countryside near Llandysul, this adults-only Certificated Location feels more like a private woodland hideaway than a conventional campsite. With space for just a handful of units on electric grass or hardstanding pitches, it's genuinely peaceful—the sort of place where birdsong and rustling leaves are your only soundtrack. A dedicated dog park means four-legged friends can stretch their legs freely, and there's a spacious shower block plus picnic tables dotted about.

The forest setting delivers on the wildlife-haven promise, while canoeists will find opportunities on nearby rivers. It's motorcycle-friendly and welcomes commercial vehicles, though the tiny scale and quiet ethos mean it won't suit everyone seeking buzz or on-site entertainment. For those after a tranquil Ceredigion base with room to breathe, Five Oaks hits the mark.

What visitors say

Mr Cadno

A tranquil adult campsite in a stunning natural environment. If you’re touring Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 put this on your list! Open fields cut with curiosity. A stone throw away from a local convenience store and village pub. 25-30 minutes walk to a pretty little garden centre and cafe. The owners are great and spend time to have a little chat and give a friendly vibe. We will definitely return👌

Absolute gem of a site. Beautifully presented and kept immaculate. Owners Dave and Kelly are very friendly hosts and helpful in every way. A welcome pack with local info is provided on your arrival. Toilet and shower spotless and clear signage for recycling/Chem Waste etc even Dog poo bins placed around the woodland walks. A great large dog field where they can run free. A fantastic price (£25 per night) is great value. Shortly 3 of the pitches will be hardstanding for the unpredictable English weather. Keep doing what your doing Dave & Kelly you deserve all the success for your hard work and dedication. Sandra Graham & Parker. "We will be back" 😊

Five Oaks is a truly remarkable campsite—an ideal retreat whether you are craving relaxation or planning to explore the beauty of West Wales. Accessing the site is very straightforward, thanks to excellent roads from every direction and a convenient entrance directly off an A road—no tight country lanes in sight. It is perfectly suited to all types of vehicles. From the moment you arrive, the warm and welcoming owners make you feel right at home, guiding you to one of five spacious, thoughtfully laid-out pitches, each complete with electric hookups. The grassy pitches are impressively firm and level, handling even rainy weather with ease—no muddy woes here. Each pitch is well spaced out, offering lovely, sun-dappled views. Essential facilities like grey and black waste disposal and freshwater taps are conveniently located at the entrance, making arrival, departure, and daily use a breeze. The toilet and shower, also near the entrance, are spotless, warm, and pleasantly inviting. In a separate field, there is a stunning yurt available to hire—fully equipped with its own shower, loo, and cooking space—ideal for a quiet, comfortable escape into nature. Pet lovers will appreciate the exceptional dog-walking area, with mown paths weaving through a secure field and a peaceful bench at the top to soak in the views. Even the dog waste bins are thoughtfully designed for hands-free use. The pitches back onto a lovely woodland area, creating a tranquil, shaded spot with a picnic bench—a wonderful place to unwind. Just a short stroll from the site, you will find a well-stocked village shop and the delightful Daffodil Inn, a must-visit. Nearby, there is also a charming garden centre café and a surprisingly comprehensive hardware store with all the essentials. Five Oaks is superb value and offers a peaceful, scenic experience in a fantastic setting. We slept soundly, loved every moment, and felt incredibly looked after by the lovely owners. It is the kind of place you leave already planning your return, we cannot wait to get back!

Our first 2 night stay at Five Oaks was fantastic. The owners greeted us with a genuine friendly greeting. You can see just how much effort they have put into this CL , the pitches are huge so no sitting on top of the next unit. Lovely mown grass with a great wooded area in the centre with benches to sit out on and enjoy the evenings. Lots of space to wander around . Local pub is a couple of minutes down the road and the menu looks fantastic but book early it is very popular and great selection of drinks. Very well supplied local shop opposite the pub and a hardware shop 2 minutes in the other direction. This truly is the best most friendly CL we have ever used and will be returning soon. Would be a great place for 5 units of friends to book for a get together.
