About Woodland Waterfalls

With far-reaching views over thickly wooded valleys and green hills, Woodland Waterfalls offers a single luxuriously appointed bell tent in two acres of private woodland – perfect for couples or small families seeking serious seclusion. The tent comes ready-pitched with double beds (each with privacy curtains), a well-equipped kitchen, dining table and convector heater, plus an exclusive-use shower and loo tent nearby. Parking sits just 20 metres away.

The real draw is the setting itself: sheltered among beech trees, with streams feeding five pools and a five-metre waterfall that can be floodlit after dark. Wooden benches dot the woodland paths, alongside a swinging seat and waterside hammock. Buzzards, red kites and woodpeckers are regular visitors, and a short lane-side wander reveals rare-breed sheep and angora goats.

Though gloriously remote, Llanidloes village is only ten minutes' drive, offering a supermarket, organic grocers, vegetarian restaurant and a couple of welcoming pubs. Note that dogs aren't permitted, keeping the atmosphere peaceful for wildlife watching.

Great location! Short walk to the few pubs on the main street. And of course the waterfalls! A great base for exploring Brecon. It was a good size cabin. Plenty of space inside. Comfy bed! Visited in March! Gas central heating - which kept it very nice and warm! Two hobs for cooking - would bring some extra cooking utensils if planning on cooking - as there wasn't any kitchen knifes) It also has a microwave where the washing up facilities are.. Very reasonably priced! Loved it here and can't wait to return! Nice and quiet site.

Amazing accomodation. I was pleasantly surprised with how spacious the pod was, especially the bathroom. I love how the pod was really clean and how each pod comes with its own parking spot. Great location as it's a short drive to the Waterfalls Four Trails. If you fancied a takeaway, I strongly recommend Penywaun Fish Bar (CF44 9HD). Their fish and chips is incredible, they also do a great donner kebab too. All in all, an amazing stay!

Everyone was very helpful, and friendly. Pods are well maintained and comfortable. Do need a car as Taxis are very hard to find but if need one the best to get hold of is Ann's Taxis. Really enjoyed our selves and the stay was well worth it. Would recommend to couples needing a quiet getaway. Thanks to everyone there for such an amazing few days.

Perfect location for exploring all the waterfalls, zip lining etc. Thanks for the tip about the ‘Batman’ waterfall, it was our favourite. Great walk to the village with 3 fantastic reasonable pubs. Thoughtful facilities, helpful unobtrusive hosting. My son hasn’t stopped talking about it. Great value. Booking again for next half term.
