Forest Pod

The Neath Valley's waterfall-dotted landscape and forest trails sit at the centre of what makes this area special. Forest Pod puts you within reach of the gorges, caves and swimming holes that draw visitors to Waterfall Country, along with rock climbing at Dinas Rock and easier walking routes through the surrounding woodland. A pub is less than a mile away on foot.

The pod itself is a single open-plan space, ground-floor and compact. You get a double bed, shower room, kitchen with gas hob and fridge, dining and sitting areas, and a TV. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. Outside is decked seating with garden furniture and your own parking space. The site has a shared firepit and barbecue if you want to use them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking indoors.

This is self-catering – you cook for yourselves – but the valley has pubs and restaurants nearby, and the beach is 19 miles away if you fancy a day trip. Arrive after 3pm, depart by 10am.
