I stayed at Arkle House previously and had recommended it to a friend for a long-term stay because my own experience had been positive overall. However, it was really disappointing to learn about the difficulties she faced during her stay. There seemed to be several issues with the room, maintenance, and pricing transparency, and many things were not functioning properly. It is honestly quite sad to discover that my friend had to go through so many inconveniences, especially after I had personally suggested the place to her. I hope there can be a clearer chain of communication in the future, along with better maintenance and more transparency regarding pricing and room conditions, so that future tenants have a smoother and more comfortable experience.

Absolutely fantastic little gem with a beautiful outside patio area, the room was clean, spacious and cosy. The staff were friendly, welcoming and an absolute pleasure to talk to. The facilities provided are everything you could ask for and the breakfast was top notch in a beautifully set up room. 10/10 would recommend and if I'm back in derry it'll be here.

I've stayed here twice now, I can't begin to overstate how accommodating and friendly and marvelous everyone here is. Breakfast is delicious, the accommodations are comfortable, and I hope to come back many more times.

Sally was a great host and made my family very welcome. Even upgraded us to a bigger room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a great selection of fruit, cereals and cooked breakfasts washed down with plenty of tea and coffee or fruit juices if preferred. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a separate community kitchen if you needed a cup of tea/coffee and needed to store anything in the fridge. It was nice and close to visiting our relatives and on a direct bus route to the city centre. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Sally and team
