Nyth Robin

Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey LL35 0RG, UK

A small woodland glamping and touring site near Aberdyfi, ten miles from Machynlleth

About Nyth Robin

Tucked into seven acres of private woodland on the coastal edge of the Dyfi estuary, Nyth Robin is a deliberately intimate eco-conscious site mixing nine touring pitches with a handful of quirky glamping options - a geodesic dome, bell tent, yurt, converted horsebox and vintage caravan. The woodland canopy gives the place a quiet, unhurried feel, with campfires permitted on pitches and a wood-fired pizza service adding warmth to summer evenings.

Electric hook-ups are available on the touring pitches, and dogs are welcome throughout, making it popular with couples and families travelling with pets. Its position ten miles from Machynlleth puts Aberdyfi's beach and golf links within easy reach, alongside the Dyfi Osprey Project and long stretches of the Wales Coast Path. A peaceful, small-scale coastal alternative for those who want the sea close by without the large holiday-park atmosphere.

We have just returned from Nyth Robin after staying for 5 nights in the Bluebell tent. Sadie and Grant really have thought of everything, our outdoor kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possible need. The bell tent was beautiful and very cosy - loads of extra blankets and cushions for those chilly nights. The site is stunning, our pitch was completely secluded and surrounded by woodland, the toilets/showers are immaculate and the showers are very powerful. The communal area is lovely to chat to other guests. We really couldn't fault anything and we'll definitely be back!

Just returned from a stay at Nyth Robin and absolutely loved it. The site is idyllic, small and peaceful, with spacious pitches that feel really private. The amenities were spotless, well designed and had a lovely quirky charm that made the place feel even more special. There’s a great choice of pitches and glamping options, and the whole site has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to switch off. We would highly recommend Nyth Robin and will definitely return.

Had a 3 night Motorhome stay here, beautiful, peaceful site with great pitchup size and adequate space from neighbours, short drive to Aberdyfi. Site immaculately kept, goid showers, plenty of hot water, clean toilets, all shared, we didn’t mind, lovely big communal area with a big pizza oven, (didn’t know before hand) we would have taken pizza things, not an issue though. Definately come back, goid recommend in Aberdyfi Coast restaurant, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, just lovely, need to book as only small, Tide bar great everyone super friendly!

We’ve just returned from another lovely stay at Nyth Robin and once again it didn’t disappoint. We’re returning customers and have now stayed on the site five times, trying various different glamping units over the years. Every unit we’ve stayed in has been immaculately clean, beautifully organised and really well thought out. The whole site is peaceful, well maintained and in a perfect location — around 10 minutes from the beach at Aberdyfi and 10 minutes the other way to Machynlleth, so it’s ideal for exploring the area. The hosts are always so welcoming and incredibly responsive both before arrival and whilst on site. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble and you can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a good experience. We’ll definitely keep returning and would highly recommend Nyth Robin to anyone looking for a relaxing glamping stay in Wales.
