Glebe Cottage suits families and small groups seeking a rural base with genuine character. The 15th-century timber-framed building, a rare example of cruck construction, sits on the edge of Callow End village with countryside views across fields and meadows. You have the whole place to yourselves, including three bedrooms (one kingsize, two singles), parking for three cars, and an enclosed garden with seating. One dog stays free.
The ground floor holds a living room with TV and DVD player, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, along with a separate toilet. Upstairs, the three bedrooms and bathroom are connected by the original steep stairs that come with a house of this age. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The garden is large but has an uneven path; there's a covered pond on the grounds that needs watching if children are visiting. A pub stands within a mile; the village shop is 100 yards away. The Malvern Hills, Great Malvern and Worcester—cathedral, restaurants and all—are a short drive.
This is not a property without steps. Most rooms are connected by one or two, and the stairs are narrow and steep. Children need supervision upstairs. No smoking inside.
