This was our 2nd visit, the 1st in Broad Down Lodge. We took our 5 year old grandson and he had a fantastic holiday. So quiet and laidback, a short drive to places and shops and a great pub next door. The Lodge was plenty big enough, everything we needed was there. The shower was great, having 2 toilets was absolutely fantastic. Was so handy having a washing machine with a 5 year old. He’s already asked if we can go back again. As soon as we know his school holidays we will be booking again. The only way it could have been better is WiFi and that was only so that he could FaceTime his mummy and daddy without going to the pub. We did buy the EE WiFi but we had issues at times with that, obviously that has nothing to do with the site though. Overall we couldn’t fault the lodge. Thanks for a fantastic and relaxing holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the 'family shepherds hut'. The shepherds hut was very quirky and suited the two of us really well. Might be a bit small for a family though. 30 minutes or so walk through fields to the Malvern hills. A few minutes drive from castlemorton church as well. There were only two toilets and showers (one for boys and one for girls) but it was clean and well kept. We would come again, thank you.

I have came back 3 times now and have booked again. One of my favorite places to stay I have just stayed here over new year. It was such a nice and relaxful place to be and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Davina was super helpful and checked up on me via email which I appreciated. The Shepard hut was super clean and warm, I packed things to keep me warm just in case but was not needed at all. You had everything you needed in the hut, although I couldn't work the right hob, it kept turning off but as I was by myself it wasn't much of a problem. The only 2 things I think could be improved is 1) the curtains didn't cover the windows well which did make me uncomfortable at times because there was gaps at the side etc so bigger curtains would've been good 2) a dog wash station, other campsites I have been at had them and was great, having a very fluffy dog climbing the hills in December resulted in a very muddy dog. I used the hose on him which he didn't appreciate it being so cold... But couldn't of taken him in the hut so muddy. I will definitely be back again and may come in summer as using the chairs and tables outside would be nice with how peaceful it was. Thank you for a lovely stay over new year 😁

Exemplary and idyllic place to stay with many beautiful places to visit locally. In the heart of stunning countryside and a 20 minute drive from Gloucester if you like busy towns. Some gorgeous villages close by if you like quieter places to visit steeped in history. Park owner and manager exceptionally helpful. Lovely landlord/lady at pub adjacent to park. Brilliant facilities, very relaxed, delicious food and very reasonably priced.
