What visitors say
Great location, friendly welcome, spotless facilities, plenty hot water, decent sized pitches. All you would expect for a club site at the very high price they charge. Handy for train to Chester or Manchester. Station café. Forest access nearby and lots of activities. However it's far from perfect. We had no luck getting through on the phone and nobody acknowledged our messages when we had to make a late change to our booking. This was disappointing. The free site wifi wasn't particularly good and there were far too many dogs allowed to yap and bark in the afternoon and evening and again the next morning. One pitch behind us had 6 dogs. What a shame our stay was not the rest we needed.

This is a fabulous site where the staff can’t do enough for you. This is our second visit. The location is great, the scenery is beautiful and plenty to see. We took our motorhome and our dog. I’m disabled but found everything so easy to use. There is the station for trains to Chester and Manchester great if you are coming here for a concert, and want to avoid the queues getting out. Well recommended for all.

Cracking place to stay, the site is virtually in the forest so walking and biking is a must. The site staff were very friendly and once we were pitched up they didn’t bother us, but were on hand should there be any issues. It’s ideally placed for getting out and about to Chester, Frodsham, Northwich etc. The showers were nice and hot however I’m not a fan of the push button showers.. Nice big pitches with room for caravan, awning and car.. A very pleasant stay 👍

Nice campsite. Not too big. Clean facilities. Very friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of wLks and bike trails nearby at Delamere Country Park. Also adjacent to the railway station with trains to Chester and Manchester. Would recommend.
