I’ve been coming to Waku Waku ever since it opened, and it has never disappointed! The food is always delicious, and the quality has stayed consistently great every time I visit. This place is pretty busy so remember to book! My usual order is the Katsu curry meal deal with chicken Karaage, edamame, and miso soup, and it always hits the spot. Everything is full of flavour, well prepared, and really satisfying. If I’m feeling extra hungry, I’ll add some sushi on the side. There’s a great variety to choose from, which makes it even better. Waku Waku has become one of my go-to Japanese restaurants, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

As someone who frequently travels and is active on social media this place is a hidden gem. Not only do they have 10/10 hospitality but the food is amazing! I highly recommend trying the chicken gyoza and the chicken katsu curry. We had filled ourselves up on starters so i got a takeout and the packaging is 10/10 also! I came back to get some souvenirs as cups cause i enjoyed it so much and they let me have them for free! It is halal friendly and i will be returning again and again. Portion sizes are perfect and the time it takes to order to recieve your food is fast!! Also the mixed berry mocktails one to definitely get! Thanks guys we will be back!

Great themed location to get some quality Japanese food! I went mid day on a Thursday and it was quite quiet. I had the Chicken Katsu Curry which was おいしい (Delicious!) Staff are friendly and the food arrived fairly quickly (although the drink I had actually took longer to come which I've never had before). The food is reasonably priced but the drinks are definitely overpriced even for what they are (upwards of £6!). Overall a good place to grab some Japanese food in a comic setting! 9/10 would come again

I've been coming to Wakuwaku since it first opened, and it remains one of my favourite places to eat. The food is always delicious, and somehow it seems to get even better every time I visit. The building itself is beautiful, with a unique atmosphere, and I love that the artwork regularly changes, giving the space something new to enjoy each time. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and helpful, which makes the experience even better. A fantastic restaurant that consistently delivers great food, great service, and a wonderful environment. Highly recommended!
