this review is for the bowling and restaurant. I often take my daughter bowling and for lunch here. She is in a wheelchair and needs alot of help. we decided to hold a little bowling party here for her birthday... 5 young adults and parents, bowling and lunch. The staff could not have been any more helpful or kind. They decorated our table, and made her a birthday desserts plate and joined in singing happy birthday Such a lovely team :)

The service is extremely friendly however the stay was basic, what I'd class as a shed, that's slightly wanting TLC, cobwebs on the roof, bed bases worn, and a very springy bed. An uncomfortable sleep, with the lights penetrating the curtains, at least put them on a timer or motion sensor. I could hear the nextdoor guest conversation he was having on the phone, very clearly. Needs a net as everyone can view in the window.Good points: extremely hot water with good pressure. On the second night I decided to try the restaurant. This however changed my whole perspective..... I ordered the open steak sandwich. What I thought I was getting was crushed as the waitress walked towards me with a very large wooden platter, with each bite my mouth exploded with flavour. This was heaven with each bite, obviously I couldn't finish it, but I did try as it was out of this world and would highly recommend everyone trying it

We visited Lakeside Lodge in Pidley for a birthday celebration and started the afternoon with a game of bowling—great fun and a lovely way to kick things off! Afterwards, we had dinner in the restaurant, and it was a real highlight. The food was some of the most flavoursome we've ever tasted—beautifully cooked, well-presented, and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
