Beeches Shepherd Hut is a single-storey retreat on its own grounds in Mid Suffolk, where you can watch miniature ponies in the adjacent field. The open-plan living space contains a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with electric hob and combination microwave-oven, and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs, a double bedroom with memory foam mattress is your sleeping quarters. The whole property is yours alone, with parking for two cars on site.
Essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen and towels—are provided, along with a welcome pack. Outside, a private enclosed area has a picnic table and firepit for evenings. Two pets stay free, and smoking is not permitted. The location puts you within walking distance of Weybred Lakes for fishing, while Harleston's Wednesday market and high street are 1½ miles away. The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, with around 65 aircraft on display, lies just over 5 miles off. Southwold's pier, independent shops and Adnams Brewery are accessible for a day out, as are Aldeburgh's famous fish and chip shop and the boating mere at Thorpeness.
