Oak Lodge

Mid Sussex

View on Google Maps

Oak Lodge sits within reach of the South Downs Way, a 160km trail threading through ancient woodlands, wildflower meadows and rolling pasture where roe deer, hares and red kites inhabit the landscape. Walking, cycling and horse riding across the Downs are immediate options, as are visits to heritage sites, wetland nature reserves, and Glyndebourne opera house, all nearby. The lodge itself stands on ground level only, accessed by four steps, with a decked terrace overlooking a lawned garden and on-site parking for your car.

Inside, the open-plan layout combines a living area with a woodburner, dining space and fully equipped kitchen – electric oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer included. Two bedrooms serve different needs: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other with zip-and-link single beds. A second bathroom has a bath with shower over. Wi-Fi, heating and logs for the burner are provided as standard. The terrace has garden furniture for outdoor sitting; a cot and highchair are available on request.

The property is yours alone, with space for four guests. No smoking is permitted indoors. One dog is welcome to join you.
