Went for an 8th birthday party, staff were friendly and approachable. There are lots of activities to try, I expect you could make a day trip out of it. Well appointed cafe with amusements, plus laser tag, axe throwing, archery, and a range of karts for all ages. The party was well organised and flowed well, the food was ready when it needed to be and was well cooked. The kids were all kitted out with fire suits (though the karts used were battery, there are petrol karts for older karters), helmets and gloves. They all had adequate tuition before they were allowed to go on track followed by a simple controls check before being given free reign. Brilliant layout with a banked corner and a banked hairpin. The track layout also goes under a spectator gantry for an added element of excitement. The spectator area is on two floors and allows you to get some great photos of the action.

We’ve been coming to JDR regularly for a while now, but managed to check out the new mini golf recently, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The holes are so different to any other course we’ve tried and as always, the staff are all welcoming, friendly and keen to help. Shout out to Harry as he’s so supportive of our karting mad son.

My son and his friends had much fun at the karting ring during January Exeat weekend. The karting team is serious for making instructions and keeping order in the track. The reception team is attentive and helpful. It is easy to book online

This place is fantastic. Today was our second visit and one of my kids had an attack of the nerves and couldn't do his first run. He soon recovered and luckily we'd booked 3 goes so he still got a decent amount of time on the track. The staff were so helpful and supportive and didn't put any pressure him, plus at the end they presented us with a voucher for the turn he didn't get to take. This was really unexpected and such a lovely touch. We will be back!
