Wildwood Quarry Retreat

We had the most amazing stay here, would recommend to everybody. The cabin was gorgeous, had an amazing view of the hills and was spotless. The outdoor bath was beautiful and it was all such a relaxing experience. The woods on site are great and there are lots of lovely walks nearby too. The cabin and site itself is gorgeous, Colin sent us a lot of information on the local area which was so useful. The owners are great communicators, care about their guests and it shows! Thank you so much we will be returning :)

A perfect, peaceful break! We have just spent two nights in the ‘Sycamore’ lodge with our little pooch and we already can’t wait to return. The lodge had everything we needed and more, it was well equipped and the owners have really thought about all the little details. We really enjoyed the outdoor bath with fairy lights above, the bbq and fire pit. There are two outdoor seating areas with each lodge, one covered on the decking and the other to the side. On arrival Colin showed us round and gave us some information about the area, they had even left us a welcome hamper with some treats which was a lovely touch. The bed was comfy and everything was immaculate. The site has space for parking, there’s lots of walks nearby and you can walk 35-45 minutes to the local pub or drive to lots of other areas around including beaches. The honesty box was packed full of goodies, and had a freezer with ice, we only topped up on logs as we had everything we needed but it was great to have. We feel so relaxed after this little break, it was so nice to sit outside and read a book whilst listening to all the birds. The view was beautiful too. Highly recommend this place, very welcoming and friendly hosts, luxury accommodation and great location. Thanks again!

Great host Colin. A beautiful lodge which was spotlessly clean. Some nice touches including a welcoming hamper, outside bath, bbq and log fire. were much appreciated. Beautiful location in a tranquil setting with great views and walks. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

This was our third stay at Wildwood Quarry Retreat, we keep coming back because it’s just such a peaceful, relaxing escape. The lodge is always spotlessly clean, cosy and really well equipped. It feels private and calm, surrounded by beautiful scenery, with plenty of places to walk and explore right on the doorstep. The outdoor bath is an amazing extra to unwind in the evening. Colin is such a friendly and helpful host, always welcoming and easy to communicate with, which makes the whole experience even better. Every time we leave, we’re already talking about when we’ll book again!
