Sugarloaf Hut

Sugarloaf Hut is a one-bedroom shepherd's hut sleeping two, set within Woodlake Park Golf Club in Monmouthshire. The single open-plan space contains a wood burner, a kitchenette with electric hob and breakfast bar, a sofa, and a double bed. A separate shower room completes the interior. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The hut's real draw is outside: an enclosed garden with an outdoor stone bath fed by hot running water, a barbecue and firepit, and multiple seating areas positioned to catch views across Llandegfedd Reservoir towards the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. A shed stores bikes and equipment. One dog stays free. You reach the hut by golf buggy or on foot from the car park, and the location works well for water sports at the reservoir, walking in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nearby, or exploring the independent cafés and restaurants of Usk a short distance away. Abergavenny, a market town known for its food festival, lies further afield. An EV charger is available at the golf club.
