Here for Sunday roast carvery, had enormous joint of beef and huge turkey breast, had very generous helping of both and loaded my plate with all the trimmings. Both meats were mouthwatering, great atmosphere. Great to see comfortable armchairs and sofas in front of a real log burner stove, wonderful

We arrived by mistake after calling the wrong pub Landlord at first said he was turning people away for Sunday carvery but after his daughter asked her mum we were good to stay and eat Waited 5 minutes and called to a table WOW this was an amazing experience German lager x 1pt Diet Coke x 1 half 2 unbelievable roast beef and roast pork and all the perfectly cooked trimmings and sauces 2 deserts, Apple pie and fresh cream / Amaretto trifle and fresh cream No rushing to get us off the table We cannot fault anything and would like to thank all concerned An absolute Gem Bill was £40 all in

Arriving at Frifay lunchtime it was a bit quiet in the pub. However the manager was very friendly and informative and gave us lots of useful information. A good range of ciders and lagers.
