Yardie View
Moray
Yardie View sits on the Moray coast in Buckie, a working fishing town where the landscape meets the sea. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a ground-floor king and an upstairs twin—with one bathroom and an enclosed garden where you can sit out. Everything essential is covered: wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and heating is provided. One pet stays without extra charge, though there is a step down into the garden to be aware of. No smoking inside.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds the living room, with a woodburner and smart TV for Netflix, plus a kitchen with a breakfast bar where you can cook properly—there's an electric cooker, air fryer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs has the second bedroom and the family bathroom. The whole place is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
Buckie itself is small and quiet, but the coastline rewards exploration. Bow Fiddle Rock sits nearby with sightlines across headlands and the Spey Bay mouth, where dolphins, ospreys and otters can be spotted. The area has six golf courses within reach. If whisky interests you, Speyside distilleries are about 20 miles inland, most offering tours and tastings. The setting works equally well for a break doing very little as for getting out into the countryside or onto the water.
