⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Late Lunch at Finn’s Bar, The Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint I stopped into Finn’s Bar at The Whistledown Hotel for a late lunch, and it was outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the ham and cheese toastie with skinny chips, a fresh side salad, and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The toastie was, without question, the best ham and cheese toastie I’ve ever had. The star of the dish was the ham – proper honey-roasted ham, not the usual deli packet slices you so often get. It was thick, succulent, and full of flavour. The cheese was delicious, and the generous dollop of Ballymaloe relish brought everything together perfectly. Compliments to the chef – it’s refreshing to find somewhere that puts so much care into what could be considered a simple dish. The skinny chips were perfectly cooked – crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle – while the fresh salad was a lovely accompaniment. The chilled Sauvignon Blanc rounded off the meal beautifully. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with stylish décor, friendly and attentive staff, and even a quirky festive display beneath the glass floor that added a bit of character. A fantastic late lunch with excellent food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Finn’s Bar to anyone visiting Warrenpoint. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped here for a wonderful evening meal, with a very fussy teenager! So glad we chose this place, with a lovely atmosphere, decor and staff. On the first floor with stunning views of the bay. Service was really busy, but the food arrived very promptly. We will definitely be back to try more of the lovely, well prepared, and gorgeous menu!

Called in on the bank holiday for lunch. Restaurant was busy but well staffed. Reduced bank holiday menu on alongside some specials, still loads of choice. Chicken burger was huge, but really good. Seafood Linguine was perfect, loads of mussels, maybe could've had a few more prawns but had plenty of salmon and white fish. Service was quick and friendly

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, the breakfast was excellent, and the service was flawless throughout. It’s definitely worth a visit—the views are simply breathtaking.
