Harris is a single open-plan hut at the edge of Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis. You walk in to find a double bed, sofa bed, dining area and kitchen all in one generous room—the layout gives you considerably more space than typical holiday accommodation of this size. A shower room sits alongside, and everything is on the ground floor with no stairs to navigate. Pets stay free, and one car can park on site; EV charging is available across the island.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering: electric hob, microwave and fridge let you prepare meals. Essentials like bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included. On the property itself is a shared laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, accessible via a coin meter—useful for longer stays or anyone carrying muddy kit. The grounds are shared with other huts on site.
The location suits walkers and cyclists particularly well; the hut sits on the Hebridean Way route, which officially ends in Stornoway. Beyond that, Lews Castle and its museum are within a short walk. No smoking inside.
