Ryka Lodge

The hot tub sits in an enclosed garden area beside this three-bedroom house on the east coast of Lewis, near Upper Coll. Built in 2022 with underfloor heating and an air source heat pump, it's designed to handle the Scottish climate without fuss. The whole place is yours alone, sleeping up to six across bedrooms that range from super kingsize beds to a kingsize with bunks for flexibility.

Ground-floor layout means one trip upstairs isn't needed. The main living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas with patio doors opening to the garden; the kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and dishwasher for proper cooking. Two bedrooms have their own en-suites with walk-in showers and heated towel rails. The third bedroom shares access to a family bathroom that contains a jacuzzi bath, walk-in shower and a private sauna. A utility room with washer and tumble dryer sits off the kitchen. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included.

Stornoway is ten minutes away if you need shops or a town. The beaches and historical sites of Lewis and Harris are within reach for day trips. Private parking fits five cars. No smoking inside.
