The Snug is a compact cottage on the edge of Southwell with enough space for four guests. The ground floor holds a sitting room with a wood-burner, a small kitchen equipped for self-catering, and access to a decked garden. Upstairs is a bedroom with a kingsize bed and shower room. A second living area with a double sofa bed occupies the attic—reached by steep stairs, which means the property isn't suitable for young children or anyone with mobility difficulties. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen, towels and initial wood for the burner are all provided.
Southwell itself is a market town with pubs, restaurants and independent shops within walking distance. Holy Trinity Church of England Infant School is nearby. The surrounding Nottinghamshire countryside has plenty of footpaths and bridleways for exploring on foot, while Sherwood Forest and The Workhouse (a National Trust site) are within easy driving distance. Parking is on road. The property is no-smoking throughout.
