What visitors say
Spent a few days on the touring pitch, was greeted by Paul who was an incredible nice warden, was really kind, efficient but laid back. The pitches were hard standing and a good size. Toilets and showers were modern and clean, no stupid push buttons in the shower. We visited the Swan pub for a delicious roast and a big car boot in Torksey just 5 minutes drive. The onsite pool was great for free fishing, the carp were in lovely condition. Site was nice and quiet at night and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely clean well maintained site lovely and peaceful. Clean toilets and shower. Ralf the warden on site was so friendly and welcoming (thank you Ralf). Situated at the back of the white swan pub. This pub is so welcoming to dogs which made our stay even more enjoyable. Meals are fantastic and reasonable prices as well. Staff are polite and served us with a smile. This all goes along way to helping make folks stay happy and enjoyable we will definitely be coming back. Thanks to you all 😊

Staff we're nice and friendly, decided to have a meal hear as staying in camp site behind pub, the portions were a good size but Wish we hadn't, we had the scampi and pie of day. Think the chef left chips in the fryer, let them get cold and re-dunked them and for good measure put loads of salt on to hide the taste, couldn't hide how burnt the we're though 🤣 not sure what happened to the pie.
