What visitors say
If we had to describe this site in one word, it would be IMMACULATE! Just had an idyllic 3 nights stay here enjoying the peace, tranquility and sunshine. The site is so well thought out with great touches to detail. The Motorhome/caravan pitches are HUGE! The grass is well manicured and feels like a carpet and many pitches have a lovely degree of privacy, being separated with well maintained beech hedges whilst getting the sunshine all day. The toilets and showers are extremely clean, practical and modern. There are numerous walks from the site including a wonderfully picturesque round-robin walk of around 1.5 hours along the river bank with the site providing a number of laminated recommended walks. Robin and Joanne work tirelessly to keep this site looking absolutely perfect and are so lovely and friendly! The site has a really chilled vibe and we will definitely be back!

I work on the roadin my campervan so asked if I couldjust have a shower for a couple of pounds (usually its £2 or £3 which is fair) but she wanted £10 which is extortionate considering my spa visits in Bristol cost £11 and includes jacuzzi! I wonder if the reality of the world as it is now (recession etc) hasn't been noticed yet by many people and will come as a shock. I declined. Working on the road and avoiding £65 pn hotel costs is the new reality for many of us. There is a business opportunity there for some.

A fabulous site. Really handy for exploring the Forest of Dean and the Severn Valley region - we did a lovely walk from the site to the river which we would highly recommend. The site itself had perfect pitches - spacious and separated with hedges. The whole site is surrounded with beautiful countryside. The sheep and Rufus the alpaca were a real bonus. The facilities on the site were excellent and showers and toilets the cleanest I have been to. Joanne was the the perfect host and on hand if you needed anything. We would absolutely recommend this lovely site and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much.
