What visitors say
Lusty Glaze is a really nice, cozy beach that isn’t too big. There is plenty of space, but it's still a good idea to get here early to grab a decent spot on the sand. The tide comes in quite far, so you'll just want to make sure you set up high enough on the softer sand to stay comfortable. The views here are absolutely beautiful, and the whole place has a nice, relaxing vibe—especially with the good DJ they had playing music while we were there. Parking & Access: - You can park right at the top for about £15 for the day (just note that this car park isn't actually manned or run by Lusty Glaze itself). - Be prepared for the steps! There are about 130 steps down to the beach. Walking down is easy enough, but coming back up at the end of the day is definitely a fitness test! Facilities: - Toilets: Very clean and well-maintained. - Shop/Bar: Great little setup, and they serve really good ice cream. - Restaurant: We chose not to eat here as the recent reviews looked a bit iffy, but we were perfectly happy just enjoying a brilliant beach day. Highly recommend for a relaxing day out—just pack light for the climb back up!

Beautiful beautiful beach, which has a lovely vibe to it. You can enter the beach via the steps or if the tide is out, you can walk along to it from other beaches. Delicious on site restaurant/cafe and bar which can cater for all family members. The beach has a calm/ relaxed feel and js sheltered/ tucked away from other areas. You are able to park up in the car park and can walk to the centre of Newquay from the beach. Family friendly !!

A beautiful, sheltered cove that has a wonderful micro climate of its own. We visited on a day when it was quite windy and blustery everywhere else, but the small cove was not and so we spent a wonderful day on the beach enjoying the sunshine. The beach is free to use and open to the public apart from paid / ticketed events. The beach is also fantastic in the evening and we had tickets for their Mama Mia event which was a very good quality event. Highly recommend the free beach or the paid events. A great location, facilities and staff.

Lovely rock cliff surrounded beach... loads of rock pools with crystal clear water... sand is clean and golden. Restaurant pub there with inside and outside eating areas... a wedding was on when we got there, we were able to take a seat away from the festivities... Dog friendly with a dog bar... dog biscuits and water free for pooches... only downside, you need to go outside for toilets and it was raining hard that day... Bargains staff very friendly, will definitely go again whilst we are here... hopefully with better weather...
