About Bedruthan Hotel and Spa
Bedruthan Hotel and Spa is a substantial coastal hotel at Trenance in Newquay, its scale giving it room for 101 bedrooms, several dining spots and a full spa wing without losing the sense of a relaxed Cornish retreat. The building takes full advantage of its position above the coast, with many rooms and communal areas looking straight out to sea.
Bedrooms include family rooms and en-suite options, with room service and drinks available for those who'd rather not move. The spa and sauna sit alongside a gym, an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, while the restaurant, bar and snack bar cover meals through the day, including a breakfast and bakery selection guests single out as a highlight. Packed lunches and kids' meals are available too, and there's a garden and picnic area for eating outside. Staff are consistently described as warm and attentive in spirit, though service can be slow at busier times.
Outside, the grounds give onto walking and cycling country, with golf, fishing, watersports and local pubs and restaurants all within reach. Free on-site parking and an EV charge point make arriving by car straightforward, and the hotel also takes weddings, with porter and concierge services on hand throughout a stay.

What guests say
We have just come back from 4 days at the Bedruthan, and it was beyond beautiful. We stayed in a Sea View Villa - highly recommend for that sense of quiet, easy access to the beach path, and a stones throw from the outdoor pools and spa facilities. We came with a newborn and a 3 year old and there was so much for us to do! The weather was so lovely that we didn't manage to get to do any of the evening activities or crafting but we will have to come back again! It's an incredibly family friendly hotel, the staff can't do enough for you, and Mawgan Porth will take your breath away. The outside of the hotel could do with some TLC, but inside it's beautifully presented. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will return.

Beautiful Bedruthan, visited with a group for a birthday celebration for one night, we were really well looked after and great at catering for dietary requirements. Beautiful views from the sea view room, really peaceful in the main spaces in the hotel. Maria was a fantastic waitress in our private dining space, really helpful and energetic in her work. Thank you! The inside of the hotel is fantastic, food was delicious from O.go and the breakfast was also delightful. The outside of the hotel is quite dated, with scaffolding up in some places but once you’re inside you don’t notice. Well planted garden areas. The towels in my room were a little worn - but staff were helpful and had it bothered me I’m sure they would have replaced them. The customer service was excellent. Thanks for a great stay.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The staff really make the already wonderful experience so fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. They were kind, friendly, helpful, accommodating, insightful. Just excellent. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! We came during half term so many of the adult activities were unavailable, but they still let me use the art room, and the morning yoga was awesome. Food was also great at both restaurants. I wish there were more vegetarian/vegan protein options (e.g. tofu, tempeh, lentils etc), but that's the same for anywhere.

One of my favourite places in Cornwall. Truly wonderful hotel in a great location and great views over magwan Porth. Quite a steep walk down to the beach but it's worth it. The breakfast buffet is of high quality and there are many options. The spa is clean and relaxing. All the food I've had here before has been exceptional. Great for all group sizes and family friendly
