Chalet at back. Beds old divans good for kids but not supportive adults due to wobble springs poking,squaking. Kitchen bit damaged chipped sides with old cuboards and missing some bits. But had 4 plates and.cheap basic knives forks. Glasses take your own less your toddler. Fridge good size and love TV on wall size. Plastic leather seats so hard and sticky when hot. Good stools but chairs no good to support back or disabled persons in party. Lack of room toilet so small hard to assist user maybe consider removing inner door because cant close it once inside. Shower works well. Good windows though blinds so hard to pull up and let any light into rooms. Table good size nice wood. Great service friendly and hood activities. Drinks good at bar and food nice options near by.

Absolutely disgusting — don’t waste your money. My review is based on accommodation only. On arrival, the caravan had what appeared to be dog urine stains all over the carpets. As you can imagine, it didn’t smell nice at all. We arrived at around 10pm, which was too late to rearrange our accommodation, so we stayed the night. The next morning, we woke up covered in what appeared to be flea bites. I honestly wouldn’t put a dog in the condition of that caravan. We were offered a Gold package as an alternative, but it was no better — there were still urine stains on the carpets. We were then offered another caravan with a hot tub and veranda, but that one smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke, like an ashtray. We had booked for 7 days but left the very next day. I genuinely don’t understand why heavily used, pet-friendly caravans still have carpets and fabric furnishings. Vinyl flooring and washable surfaces would surely be far more hygienic and practical for accommodation that welcomes pets. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend it.

What an amazing holiday camp this is. So many pluses.1 the lodge we stayed in was clean and bright.2 checked with ease.3the hot tub was top notch probably our favorite bit. 4 so much to do to keep kids entertained.5 the food was nice and reasonably priced. 6 we loved the entertainment the glow show was our favorite bit. 7 all staff were friendly and helpful.8 children playing areas well maintained and fun for the kids to use.9 close to everything from beach to shops to fun fair and amusements. A first class holiday and will definitely be back.

We have not stayed at Richardsons for a few years, as we found the cost of a lodge to be excessive, especially when comparable prices could be spent on a holiday abroad. However, we decided to stay during the Whitsun week. Unfortunately, our lodge was in a concerning state. It appeared tired, under-stocked, and was notably dirty. The toilets were not clean, and one was soiled, necessitating a call to Reception to request it be sanitised. We also had to ask for a new mop, as the one provided was utterly filthy. Furthermore, the dining table was sticky and very unclean, and the sofas are in need of a thorough steam clean. There was an issue with ants in the lodge, which required attention. The patio door is also broken. Additionally, the quilt and pillows provided are very thin, offering little comfort. I could keep going ! We also found the bar closing at 11pm to be quite inconvenient, as it seemed to be a strategy to encourage guests to leave early. The entertainment was also quite poor, which was disappointing. It is quite disappointing, especially considering the significant expense incurred for this stay. We also observed that the security team appeared overwhelmed, dealing with numerous complaints from new guests. We trust these matters will be addressed promptly to improve the experience for future guests.
