Thornbank

Millport sits on the Isle of Cumbrae, a 10-minute ferry crossing from mainland Ayrshire, and has become known among cyclists and walkers for its quiet roads and coastal paths. Thornbank is a first-floor flat in a Victorian villa, sleeping nine across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The layout gives you a large living room with a wood-burning fire, a kitchen with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, plus two further reception areas upstairs. Bedrooms split between a kingsize and two singles on the first floor, and another kingsize and two singles (plus a sofa bed) on the second. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided; logs for the fire are included too. A lawned garden with seating overlooks the bay, and there is on-road parking. The property is yards from the shoreline and a five-minute walk to Millport town centre. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted inside.
