Lower North Radworthy Cottages - The Farm House
North Devon
View on Google MapsThe Farm House is a converted property on a working farm near Beaworthy, sleeping eight across four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The ground floor contains a living room with woodburner, a separate second sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen with range cooker, and a games room featuring a snooker table. Upstairs, one bedroom has a king bed with ensuite; the other three contain either a double or twin beds, served by a further bathroom. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner.
The property comes with parking on site and access to a courtyard garden with patio and furniture. One dog stays free, though must be kept on a lead as this is an active farm. The grounds are shared with other holiday lets, and there is also a private sitting-out area. Fishing is available free of charge from late March through September. The location puts you within reach of Exmoor National Park. Bear in mind the property sits on a working farm with a natural water supply from a spring, and there is an unfenced pond in the grounds, so children will need supervising.

We had a great time at Meadow View, spotlessly clean, well stocked, comfortable bed and fantastic shower. The owners are very kind and welcoming, and it was a pleasure to be around so many lovely animals. We hope to return in future :)

We had a lovely stay at Meadow View. We had views of the animals straight from our window. Ian was brilliant and went out of his way to show us around the farm. We were lucky to enough to see one hour old twin calves. Ian also took us out to see Freddie the bull. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend a visit to this peaceful spot.

We had a wonderful stay here and the house was perfect. The property (belonging to Ian the farmer) is 5 star and we'd love to return one day. It was perfect for us as downstairs and outside was all accessible for a wheelchair user, with a wet room too, and the kids had loads of space to play. Especially loved the play area and hot tub! The kids loved seeing the animals too. It was wonderful, a spacious stunning property!

Anna and lan were excellent. Our windscreen crashed on our way to Cornwall, and they did everything to help us. They even offered to take us to the farm from the road while we were waiting for the recovery. Thanks to a garage recommended by lan, we've managed to fix our car, and we can continue our holidays. The place itself was great. The barn conversion is done well, with a fully equipped kitchen (including a washer and dryer) and a patio with a great meadow view. I enjoyed my morning coffee there. This is an excellent base if you want to see everything by driving to a new place daily.
