Stable Rise

Stable Rise is a converted first-floor apartment in rural North Devon, near Gidley Farm. Everything you need for a week away is here: the kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave for cooking proper meals; there are two bathrooms with heated towel rails; bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; and oil central heating keeps things warm. One dog stays free.

The layout is straightforward. Downstairs, an open-plan space contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge with Freeview Smart TV. Three bedrooms sleep six: one with a kingsize bed that converts to two singles, one with a kingsize, and one double. Both bathrooms are equipped, one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower cubicle. Outside, there's an enclosed lawned garden with furniture for sitting out, and parking for three cars. No smoking inside.

The setting suits families or groups wanting a quieter base for exploring the North Devon coast and countryside. Ilfracombe is nearby for beaches and seaside villages. Arrive after 4pm, depart before 10am.
