You step into Little Barn and find yourself in one continuous space—living area, kitchen and dining all flowing together on the ground floor. A double bedroom and wet room complete the layout. Everything is on one level, with underfloor heating throughout and the essentials provided: wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer and washing machine. There's a patio with garden furniture outside, and parking for two cars on site.
The barn sits on an equestrian centre among sheep and hens, next to Shirland Golf & Country Club and overlooking rural countryside. Walking and cycling start from your doorstep; a 5-minute drive brings you to trails for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Hardwick Hall—built in the 1590s by Bess of Hardwick and now run by the National Trust—is nearby, as is the Crich Tramway Museum. The villages of Higham and Wessington have country pubs within reach. Dogs are welcome and stay free, though they must be kept on a lead while you're here. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
