The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave, a fridge-freezer and washer-dryer, so you can cook properly or do laundry without hunting for facilities. A pub is within walking distance, and shops are two miles away. One dog stays free, and there is parking for two cars on site. The location rewards exploration on foot: grassland stretches from the door towards Linacre Reservoirs and their nature trails, while moorland and escarpment views are just minutes away. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall are all short drives, and the market towns of Bakewell, Matlock and Chesterfield are nearby. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
