Beach & Tonic is fully equipped for self-catering, with everything from bed linen and towels to Wi-Fi and heating included. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and full-sized fridge and freezer, so you can prepare proper meals rather than relying on takeaways. Three bedrooms—two doubles and one with bunks—and a bathroom with both bath and shower mean families of six can spread out comfortably. The living and dining room has a smart TV and an electric woodburner for colder evenings.
The property is ground-floor throughout, accessed via three steps, with an enclosed lawned garden and a back patio with seating. It sits on the Humberston Fitties, a seafront row of distinctive holiday chalets just 200 yards from the dunes; the beach itself is within easy walking distance. Cleethorpes seafront—with its pier, amusements, shops and restaurants—lies roughly a mile away along the foreshore. The surrounding area suits families wanting straightforward seaside time: the beach here is used by kayakers and paddleboarders, and there's a sailing club on the fitties. Smoking is not permitted inside.

The chalet was in a great location, however our holiday was ruined when on the second day into our holiday the hot water stopped working, we contacted the host however they were unable to get heating engineer to fix the problem, this caused issues as we had young children and were unable to bathe, also unable to wash dishes and wash our hands effectively. The host was very rude and passive aggressive in the way they responded to our issue with having no hot water (for example stating a 2 year old only needs 2 inches of water to bath in and we should be able to wash our hands with cold water- as infection prevention lead in my job I can definitely say that you cannot effectively wash your hands in cold water) there was no kindness shown or apology. The chalet was extremely dusty and dirty in all rooms, it didn't appear to have been cleaned properly in months. I am usually happy to give accommodation a quick clean on arriving but there was no mop or cleaning products. Every morning myself and my family were awoken with flies crawling on our faces which was not ideal. Do not book!
