Admiral’s Rest

North Norfolk

View on Google Maps

Cromer offers enough to occupy most of a holiday: a working lifeboat museum, a pier, a wide sandy beach and clifftop promenade, a golf course, Amazona Zoo, and a coastal path that continues to neighbouring resorts. The town has shops, cafes and pubs within easy reach, and a children's play area is a three-minute walk away. For a wider radius, Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Blakeney Quay are within reach, as are the Norfolk Broads at Wroxham—20 miles away—where boat hire lets you explore the waterways. Norwich, 22 miles south, has its cathedral, castle and museums if you need a day inland.

Admiral's Rest is a converted hotel apartment on the ground floor, so no stairs to manage. Two bedrooms sleep four: a kingsize in one room and two single beds in the other. The living space includes a sitting room with a television and DVD player, and a kitchen-diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. A bathroom has a bath with shower over. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and there is private parking for one car at the rear of the building, accessed via your own entrance. A small sitting-out area overlooks it. No smoking indoors. Travel cots and high chairs are available on request.
