Stone House Farm – Courtyard Barn is a single-storey converted agricultural building set within 10 acres of mixed woodland on the edge of Lessingham, between Norwich and the Norfolk coast. The property sits on a Site of Special Scientific Interest, rich in bird and wildlife; guests can explore circular paths through the grounds, which include riverside decking overlooking a waterside inlet leading to Horsey Mere. The unfenced river lies about 500 yards away.

The barn contains open-plan living and dining space with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a bathroom with shower upstairs. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture provides outdoor space, and there is parking for one car on site. One dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted.

Sea Palling beach is a five-minute drive away; the Norfolk Broads lie ten minutes off. An external games room with pool table and table tennis is available on a shared basis. Lessingham has shops and a pub nearby. The property sleeps four and is yours alone during your stay.

Had a lovely few days, hosts where none instructive and very friendly, the welcome wine, bread and lovely brownies where much appreciated, we did not want for anything. Our 2 labradors had a great time in the amazing grounds, which are beautiful and even though we live in Norfolk found places we had never been to before. Will be back to discover more, thank you for a lovely holiday.

Beautiful property with wonderful hosts. We arrived to a welcome pack of homemade bread, chocolate brownies, wine and milk. The barn itself is perfect with the most fabulous grounds which we and the dogs loved. There are benches to sit and take in the lovely surroundings, watch the dogs swim or look out for the beautiful array of wildlife.
