Cromer's seafront sits just a short walk away from The Lookout, a three-bedroom terraced cottage that sleeps six. The beach and pier are within easy reach on foot, and the town centre—with its shops, cafés and restaurants—is equally close. A private courtyard with barbecue and bike storage sit behind the property, along with parking for one car. The essentials are covered: bed linen, towels, wi-fi, heating and electricity are all included.
Inside, the layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, plus three bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite toilet, one with two single beds, and one with bunk beds. A bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and separate toilet serves the other rooms. Upstairs, the living room has a television, DVD player and bluetooth speaker, while the kitchen/dining room is fitted out for cooking—gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher mean you can prepare proper meals. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed.
The location opens onto both leisure and culture. Sheringham lies four miles away with its leisure pool and heritage railway; Blakeney and its marshes are thirteen miles on; the RSPB reserves at Cley and Morston are a short drive. Norwich sits twenty-three miles inland. No smoking is permitted. Arrive after 4pm, depart before 10am.

The Lookout is worth 6 ⭐. The view is to die for, the beach is lovely and a minute away and the sound of the sea good for the soul. Sally had thought of everything, making this a truly comfortable stay. The standard of this accommodation is fantastic. Coffee shops, ice cream and great fish and chips are a short stroll. It’s a great location to explore North Norfolk but really just spend your holiday on the beach or watching the sea and the odd seal!

We loved our short stay at The Lookout. My response when I walked through the door was "yes". It is in an ideal location, we spent most of our time walking on the beach (less than 2 mins away) or sitting in the sunroom watching the sea and passing ships (we called it 'Bacton TV'). The Lookout is beautifully furnished and has a well equipped kitchen for those who wish to cook. The bed is very comfortable and I loved drifting off to sleep listening to the sea. Our young dog was in his element having zoomies chasing sea foam and digging on the beach. The owner Sally, is very helpful and sent informative videos of how to work various pieces of equipment in the cottage. We have got withdrawal symptoms and would definitely love to return for a longer stay.

A beautiful home with all the amenities you could hope for (and the bed was very comfortable). Everything you could need for your dog was provided, including great couch covers, bowls, treats and a ball - and a goodie basket for the humans too! We had the most wonderful week here with our cocker spaniel and enjoyed our daily walks along the beach and exploring local towns and other beaches. Great recommendations from the host and very informative - allowed us to enjoy a peaceful week watching the world go by. Thank you - we look forward to coming back again :)
