What visitors say

Dave

Lovely idyllic place, Sally is very welcoming and cooks a mean breakfast yum yum, very nice converted barn / stable block connected to the farmhouse, stayed here a few days and looking forward to a return visit in the future. Does have facilities for caravans, tourers and tenting in the adjoining field.

Home after spending a lovely weekend camping here. Sally was lovely and even brought my daughter a little balance to use during our stay. Pitches were spacious and plenty of room to play. Toilets/showers were clean and washing up facilities were good too. Nice quiet site, picturesque views of the moors and close to Staithes and Whitby. What more could anyone want?! We will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed in our motorhome as a couple and our dog . First thing we heard was a curlew . I've not heard one for years . It was just such a lovely peaceful place . Toilets and showers are lovely . Lovely big flat open grassy area . Moors in sight and a walk from the campsite about 20 minutes to The Lodge . Pizzas available there on a Friday and Saturday night . Also nice to sit outside and have a drink . The heather was just starting to flower so that was lovely too . This is the place to feel totally relaxed and to get away from the city . Short drive to lovely beaches .we went to Sandsend .Large beach and because the weather was so nice the north sea looked like the med ! Thanks Sally ... For your attention . Really lovely to meet you .

Fabulous campsite, owners are very hospitable and kind. Nice flat pitches, spaced out so it is not crowded at all, and car park area is separate so your tent pitch is not next to your car. Very clean facilities, sink, fridge, shower and toilet cubicles.
